The objective „High quality – low prices“ leads to an intensive competition and global structures in the production, manufacturing and distribution of textiles and shoes. The economic pressure motivates companies to search for new markets for production, purchase as well as logistics. The German-Albanian Branch Conference for Textiles and Shoes intends to reveal interesting perspectives in Europe for this purpose.
Albania offers attractive conditions for the production and processing of textiles and shoes. Regional proximity, low labour costs, committed employees and a growing middle class are important advantages, which should be taken in consideration for investments and trade. Therefore the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Albania and Tirana organizes in cooperation with the German-Albanian Economic Association, the German Association of Foreign Trade Nordrhein-Westfalen and with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Düsseldorf and the METRO AG the German-Albanian Branch Conference for Textiles and Shoes on 16th/17th October 2006 in Düsseldorf.
The branch conference is directed to companies of the industrial and trade sector in Germany looking for new cooperation opportunities for the production, processing and the import of textiles and shoes. But especially the conference is directed to companies in Albania producing and processing textiles and shoes.
The central focus of the branch conference will be the Cooperation and Contact Forum for companies. This forum will serve as the base for the Albanian and the German companies for their presentation of products and cooperation perspectives. For this reason the participating companies will have the chance to promote the company in the list of companies which are interested in new contacts. In addition, the forum establishes an important base for bilateral contacts between German and Albanian companies.
